Round and round we go, where the progress needle stops, way below.
How many times have you put something out there that you thought would be the next big thing or that would change the community in some way only to find a cricket serenading your unseen efforts?
Yep, been there!
From emotional wellness, to tarot readings, to even blogging about my homeless/nomadic adventure, all I got was dead air.
Was it my content? Was it my approach? Did I not market enough? Is my niche okay?
A sea of questions with no solid answer and don't get me started on the research. "Niche down, be yourself, buy the subscription, read the book, do the hokey pokey and sell your first born" .
I've spent over 3 years between YouTube and my blogs trying to kickstart even a small flame but time after time all I received was dust. Hell, this post may see the same ultimate demise.
So what's the point of this?
Am I rebranding yet again?
No!
The blog is called "S. Nicole-Living" is it not? I'm here to share my ups, downs and everything in between. It's rebuilding from the depths of hell and with that comes trial and error.
I'm not looking to necessarily start anything new or even push the things I'm already doing. At this time, I'm just winging it!
Gasp! Cue the nay-sayers! "Grab your pitchforks!"
What's the solustion?
At this point of the read, you're probably feeling like a fool for clicking on yet another link in hopes of finding the answers to change your life.
Sorry to break it to you but all those blog posts and videos that people shell out like candy on Halloween are paid promotions and info that gain traction through buying the upsells.
What do I mean?
They buy the tools that help them get off the ground.
Unlike us souls who are scraping at the barrel and playing the long game, those successful instagramers, youtubers, and bloggers had the funds to quickly get clicks or the luck of a one hit wonder!
Can you say "Demure"?
Harsh reality, I know but, this is what I've come to terms with.
While I would love to see my channel and blog gain that type of viewership I know what my financial pockets look like at this time and, well, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip.
It takes money to make money unfortunately and while yes there are free tools to utilize, it's only the shell of the feature.
So as I sit as a peasant of the blogging and vlogging community, I conclude with this: keep going anyway.
Yep, you read that correctly!
Sometimes, the glamorous thing to do is to simply keep going as best as you can until one day the tables will display in your favor.
Keep writing, keep recording, tweak what you need but keep going.

Seriously, the engagement is worth more to me then trying to upsell you some package.
