The Adveneture Awaits

I'm sitting in a Starbucks as I type this, wondering about my next immediate step. Should I be enjoying this moment? Perhaps, but let's talk about that. Let's dive into the energy of remaining present versus the wonderment of the future.

Every second that proceeds the next is the present moment. With every breath and every step, we are in the next and the present energy of life. However, sometimes the present isn't always ideal or feels all that great. Thinking about what was or what could be helps to escape our reality and to a degree brings us a sense of calm. Well... that also depends on what we are contemplating about.

One of the resonating things I've noticed collectively is that we continuously seek peace, tranquility, and resolve. These are energies that if you reflect on them over the past few years have been far and few between. The chaos, unexpected interjections, and topsy-turvy events have rolled in and out like a train station and the gap between serenity and the fog can sometimes feel out of reach.

Present Calm and Future focus

We hear a lot about staying in the present but let's keep it 100%, staying present isn't as easy as coloring in between the lines nowadays. There are a multitude of factors at play, especially in the United States. From economic strains, mental health surges, and basic stability, our country as well as us individually may have been affected in one way or another leading us on this desperate cycle to find some consistent balance. A never-ending chase for relief.

Since my dealings with unprecedented disruption, I had to learn to not only embrace my new normal but learn to balance the present with my pursuits, especially during times when life can feel the most uncertain.

3 ways to keep going

One way I like to embrace the present is by exploring and taking in what I see, taste, and feel. This looks like nature walks, museum visits, or enjoying my favorite hobbies. These activities keep me grounded and rooted within myself so I have the strength and inner balance to keep going.

Another way I balance my visuals is by listening to my intuition. The gut guidance that tells you when to move, take heed or remain still. Our intuition can look and feel like many things and it can take a few trials and errors to understand your indicators.

Lastly, I pause and ask myself questions when dwelling on the past. This sense of awareness helps to remind me that what was, is no longer here on this timeline and that what I'm working on will come into visual in due time.

The investment of our present efforts towards future passions not only fuels our current momentum but also paves the way for the fulfilling present we aspire to inhabit.

I hope these tips were helpful and that you've gained a better understanding of staying present while also flowing forward. Feel free to message me with ways on how you stay present and find balance during life's unexpected and weighted trials.

Until next time readers, live, laugh, love, and keep going.
